Private Lessons

Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Symphonic Pulse Percussion Studio is a percussion instruction studio designed to successfully teach intermediate level students who wish to learn more about percussion. Unlike many "drum lessons," the curriculum at Symphonic Pulse includes not only snare drum and drum set, but also incorporates keyboard percussion and accessory percussion so students can become proficient in all areas of percussion. Students are currently being accepted to the studio on an audition only basis. However, this is usually only to ensure that the student has some musical / percussion experience. Also, Skype lessons are avaliable upon request for specialized genres of music. Just ask for more info!

Curriculum

Students of Symphonic Pulse Percussion Studio will be taught basic technique on all percussion instruments. As percussionists, it is very important for one to have a broad understanding of how to play each of the instruments well.

Pricing

A students first lesson (30 min) is offered free of charge. This lets the instructor and potential student get acquainted and determines the students level of interest. Students are introduced to the different percussion instruments and are asked to play snare drum, xylophone, or marimba. If a students wishes to begin taking regular lessons, they may sign up following the lesson.
